The TLC is a charity and relies on people’s generosity in either donating, volunteering or fundraising.
Whether you have used our services or are just taking an interest in the work we do for the community, please take a few moments to see the many ways you could support our work.
To keep our charity going costs over £350 per day, so all donations and contributions, no matter how small are greatly appreciated.

People who remember TLC in their wills are special individuals who understand that the promise of funding many years into the future is crucial in enabling us to continue to offer counselling to people on a donation basis.
Your legacy could take many different forms, and your personal circumstances will determine which type of legacy gift is best for you. Please talk to your solicitor about the different types of legacy you can leave, and ask them to include a legacy of your choice to TLC.

Do you like organising events? Why not put your organisational skills to use and arrange a fundraising event on our behalf, inviting friends, family and the local community to enjoy a coffee morning, or fair, or any other event you can think of that would raise vital funds for us.

We are always in need of donations of goods for our charity shop, if you have any items you no longer need, such as clothes, toys, electrical items, bric-a-brac etc please drop them in to the shop or TLC centre.
If you are a taxpayer you can also Gift Aid your donations, to help us make even more money, please ask in the shop for more information.

Whether you want to upskill, keep busy or meet new people, we have a role for you, and we’d love for you to become part of our friendly team.
We are often in need of volunteers to help out either in the centre or at our charity shop in Milnsbridge.

Easyfundraising is a shopping directory that features some of your favourite online stores. All you have to do is go through their site whenever you shop online and, at no extra cost to you, we’ll receive a donation from every purchase you make.
It’s completely FREE to register and use and you still shop with each retailer in exactly the same way. If you shop online anyway then raise valuable funds for us at the same time!
Just go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk/thetlc, register, and select us as the organisation you wish to support, then go via their site when you shop online to contribute to our charity.
