Is this the right course for me?
This course is aimed at anyone who has a heart for people, is involved in pastoral care and / or is interested in becoming a Christian/Secular counsellor. A student must have completed and received a certificate for a Level 2 Award or equivalent, prior to joining the course.
The course will equip you to integrate the Christian faith with good, professional, trained and accredited counselling and ensure that you are working within the ACC/BACP Ethical Framework for counselling.
The Student Centred Learning style mirrors the person centred model of counselling that is being taught, along with the developmental theory mirroring the psychodynamic aspects of the model.
Training sessions consist of a third group work, a third theoretical didactic teaching and a third counselling skills work.

Entry requirements
To join the course you will need to have completed a Level 2 counselling course, or equivalent.
