The BBC RaW campaign’s Space Circus visited Belfast on 28th and 29th June 2008.

LSDA NI partnered up with the BBC to provide family literacy storytelling activities over both days.

The circus was created to help parents get more out of sharing stories with their children. Designed to appeal to both children and adults, it set out to offer fantastic hands-on workshops and activities to help inspire and build confidence. LSDA NI provided activities on storytelling through sign language and storytelling through pictures.

The event was a big success with almost 5000 people visiting us over the two days!

See and hear for yourself – See attached file for a short film we made at the event.
