That was the message at a major conference on leadership and management in N Ireland recently. Director of LSDA NI Trevor Carson was one of the keynote speakers, outlining the key role played by his organisation in leadership, workforce development and quality improvement – three of the key elements required if the UK is to thrive as a global economic player.
Other speakers included DEL Minister Sir Reg Empey and again he majored on ‘the need for outstanding leadership skills to ensure a prosperous economy.’
